THE REVIEW SCOPE

One catalogue.
Several moving parts.

The useful question is not simply “is this song listed?” It is whether the correct recording, person, rights and collection arrangements line up.

01 / IDENTITY

Names & collaborations

Artist aliases, group names and featured credits. Keep unrelated performers with similar names out of the review.

  • Legal and performing names, confirmed by you
  • Solo, band and collaboration catalogues
  • Version and release identification
02 / RECORDINGS

Credits & identifiers

Compare available recording listings with your catalogue, then flag entries that need clarification.

  • ISRC recording codes and version names
  • Recording rightsholder listings
  • Performer links in authorised repertoire exports
03 / COMPOSITIONS

Writers & shares

A songwriting interest is separate from a recording credit. We review the documentation rather than assume the split.

  • Work identifiers and writer names
  • Publisher and writer shares you provide
  • Queries to clarify conflicting information
04 / PAYMENTS

Collection & statements

With permission, compare the relevant statements and collection arrangements against the agreed catalogue.

  • Relevant periods and territories
  • Existing agents and society mandates
  • Money identified versus money actually received

What we won’t do.

Invent balances from stream counts. Treat every missing field as unpaid money. Claim all works with a matching name. Ask for passwords. Contact societies or change rights without authority.
